My name is Nissa Vance. I come from a small area in Pendleton county called Upper Tract. I lived there with my grandma for 20 years. I moved to Morgantown my junior year of college to live with my boyfriend and our dog peewee that we just adopted. In April, I became an aunt by surprise to a beautiful little girl. I am currently in the education program here at Fairmont State. This is my senior year and I plan to graduate next December.
Nissa, is that downtown Upper Tract or do really come from the outskirts? You see when I visit Upper Tract I stop at Kile's to a cold drink and chips and then either go to the Smoke Holes or turn down the Schmucker School House road and head to Rough Run, Dam Site 7. Nice video and yes, I think teaching is 2 way street, in fact I may learn from my students than they learn from me. I'm looking forward to your future comments in this class.
