Finding stories that connect people is newsworthy. It is always not a bunch of news, it is news that people can connect to and keep their attention. This type of news usually comes from journalist. All of the information that Sarah was telling us in the video was very interesting and kept the attention of her audience. Many of the news we hear about today is a lot of business and politics. Some of the news that need to be shared with people get passed by because we don't think to go out and find the stories that connect  and inspire people like Sarah and her friends did. I feel having students go out and find something from someone that they connect and are inspired with will motivate students to learn more about how they find news and know what is newsworthy. I think that this will motivate students to learn more about the news if they are ale to find something they can connect with and have an emotional connection to.
