Nissa, your story was a very powerful story. Your words pulled me right in. I felt like I almost knew him as the story progressed and I felt like I was fighting for him to beat the cancer. By the end - "Nothing is impossible" was indeed a strong quote. My brother-in-law coined the phrase "Forditude" which became our personal motto in our family after he passed.
There is a quote I once read that states: “Whenever something negative happens to you, there is a deep lesson concealed within it.” ~Eckhart Tolle I think your story illustrates that perfectly. Your emotional story conveys a very potent message. None of us is immune to tragedy, but your story serves as a reminder that we have the capability to take something away from it besides sorrow. As difficult as it may have been to share your story, thank you for doing so.
The best thing about your story is the outro of him having fun doing what he loved. I would like to know more about what kind of cancer he had. One thing you should think about changing is directly answering the question at the start at the very end. Another good thing about your story is he clearly meant a lot to a lot of people.
Your story is such a wonderful tribute to your cousin life. I am sure your family loved watching this! I enjoyed watching your story and could tell how important he was to you and your family.
Nissa Vance What a wonderful story. Thank you for sharing your views & life. The only recommendation I would makes is that sometimes in the audio I can hear papers rustling.
This video is a wonderful celebration of life and what we can learn from it. We so often get caught in between the lines of "life and death" and fail to see the silver lining that we should revel in that is the happiness and joy that we find in the everyday and through other's achievements. The outro was very touching, and I think you did a great job. The only thing I might have done differently was possibly a slightly faster tempo, but that is also personal preference. Wonderful job, very powerful.
The best thing about your story is the inspiring story and emotional content. You definitely had me in tears by the end. You did a great job of covering the story well, so I don’t feel I need to know more about the story. Although you stumble once in the narration, it is overall very good and does not need to be changed. Another good thing about your story is your use of pictures to convey messages and strengthen the emotional connection. Thank you for sharing!
